I usually don't give 5 star ratings but man oh my if this place doesn't deserve it I don't know what does. The food was outstanding. Exceeds expectation in fact. Hats off to their chef. I had mussels and they were fresh and juicy. The cocktails were also delicious and presented beautifully. The service was on point. Someone always available to make sure everything is going smoothly without hovering too much. And honestly I was impressed with their quickness. We went on mother's day in the afternoon and they were fully booked. We had made a reservation but we did order on the spot and the food was cooked in a fair amount of time. And the atmosphere, I think its the best thing about the place. Only one word will give it justice, elegant.

Thank God for God’s will because my vision? Atrocious I really need to note down the names of the dishes that I order, but this was basically a fish salad. When I ordered it, I was picturing a whole fish laid down on the bed of a salad. So when my food arrived I was so so disappointed. Bc where’s the fish? But boy oh boy was I pleasantly surprised. The first serving I had phenomenallll. It was just the perfect meal. The flavours were doing fireworks there in my mouth. And I’ve been crying that new ingredients need to be released bc it feels like I’ve tasted everything at this point — the salad had these salty tiny balls called capers. Great addition because I didn’t have to worry about adding salt to my fish and cucumbers and all. I wish my mouth could write this review bc there are just so many things I can’t put into words. But yeah. Good food. Just trying to imagine the logistics of the whole fish that I wanted? Would I pick it apart within the salad? Bones and all? Crazy Our waite

This upscale restaurant is located in the Highland Park Phase 1 Building. As a fan of the Pariah Brand I was eager to try Upstate after the new restaurant buzz was over. This restaurant is by reservation only, But we had to wait 20 mins at the bar to be seated. We’ll start with the bar as this is where we started. The bar is beautifully set and well stocked with a bartender that offers everything on the menu and more. Upstate’s cocktail menu is an extensive but however lacks some classics or favourites. Cocktails were good. Food, we had starters and mains. Their menu is seasonal, meaning it’ll change occasionally. My favourite starter was the steak on sticks. Was so good. Would’ve had another as my mains. The bone marrow wasn’t so good. For mains we had a tuna salad and steak. Food was good, not great still to discover my favourites from their menu. This location has good parking options. Alcohol is served at this location. This location needs a reservation. Upstate is pricier than mo

This restaurant offers has great ambiance with great food. The portions are worth the money, even though the variety could have been better. The service is the only disappointing because the waiters can be slow and they automatically put a tip amount on your bill meaning you don’t decide yourself how much you’d like to tip.

The place is so beautiful… I enjoyed the vibes ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ However, the creamy mushroom Pasta wasn’t so good and the meat lacked flavor. I wish they can prepare flavorful dishes.. Food definitely disappointed. The staff is quite friendly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
