You don't come here for the atmosphere. You come for the great coffee, and the spectacular and indulgent cakes and tarts and eclairs and similar. You're probably thinking that you can get those tarts in any old cafe, and you can certainly get some of the fare easily. But it's a much higher level here! It shows you what a lemon meringue tart can be! The crisp pastry, delicate lemon, and the not over sweetened meringue. It's worth it.

I ordered a tart, and it was absolutely delightful: beautifully presented with a crisp base and just the right level of sweetness. I stopped by the café for a quick takeaway flat white. The coffee was a great roast, affordable and delicious. I was so happy they were open on a Sunday. Even though I was only there for coffee, I couldn't help but notice how amazing the pastries and baked goods looked. The café had a beautiful French feel and was clearly a very popular spot with the locals. I'll definitely be back to try one of their incredible-looking macarons or even to pick up a cake for a special occasion.
