I wanted to try this place as I drive past it every now and then but never actually get the chance to try. So I came on the 18/4/2026 quiet afternoon. I ordered 3 small tapas and a drink. The tapas didn’t come altogether and took quite a while to be delivered, I didn’t get my 3rd tapa despite the almost 2 hours of being there. The tapas plate are the size of a sauce dish so I was wondering why it’s taking a while. I was almost charged for the 3rd tapa so I had to ask for it to be removed. Stumbled across this gem during a recent work trip and it was the highlight of my stay in Darwin. I love tapas, and Moorish Café absolutely nailed it. The food was incredible—especially the prawns—and the atmosphere was spot on. The staff were legendary and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!
