This little cafe is a total vibe with incredible food and the loveliest owners around. Sitting outside by the road is somehow tranquil; the coffee is good; what look like pastries in the cafe are elevated by thoughtful and tasty additions (fresh fruit, customized sauces, just the tiniest touches); and the owners just love having a chat. A must try breakfast experience in Launceston!

This is a quaint little place on Margaret Street serving up good coffees and a nice selection of healthy and veg friendly foods. Opening hours are 6.30am to 2.30pm (Tues to Fri) and 7.30am to 1.30pm (Sat), closed Sundays and Mondays. There are a few small tables outside at Flying Sparrow so be ready for take-away if full up when you arrive. We stopped by here recently and picked up a falafel wrap and spinach roll along with coffees. Food items were nicely packaged with jam, apple slices and salty crisps. We took them into the nearby Cataract Gorge where we really enjoyed everything served. Bo

Amazing food and good coffee! Stopped by while visiting Launceston for the weekend, and had an amazing breakfast. Service was exceptional and made us feel very welcome and accommodated for. They have several great gluten free and vegetarian options which was really great!

Stopped by this morning for a coffee, grabbed a ham and cheese toasty as well and what a present surprise! The service was great, the toasty was awesome (the little side of relish was fantastic too!) and they do a darn good coffee. Just out of the way enough to be easy to get to, well worth checking out!
