Great atmosphere and lovely cakes! This bakery has such a cozy, local vibe—it’s full of regulars reading newspapers and enjoying their morning coffee. Their cakes are definitely the highlight and my personal favorite. I tried the plain croissant and pain au chocolat this time; both were quite good! The coffee is decent, though not the best you’ll find in Melbourne. Still, it's a wonderful spot to relax.

'Brownie Passionfruit Chocolate Gateau' consists a promising description to its name. You're carefully met with a soft chocolate top, introduced to a cautious but swinging Passionfruit layer, somewhat jelly like. Below by the base is lastly your tough brownie with crunchy hazelnuts intertwined generously. The accords in your mouth with the aftertaste welcome an unexpected orange in it aswell. Excellently crafted cakes, done well with precision and innovative pairing.

One thing to note is that they do not accept cash, although there were no card surcharges applied in-store. However, the transaction appeared differently on my bank statement — instead of the store name, it showed up as “Royal Automobile Club of Victoria,” which I found a little odd.

It’s now 2025 and I still buy a birthday cake from them for family sometimes- The Brownie Passionfruit Chocolate Gateau, ALWAYS, along with a few of the smaller cakes. The Brownie Passionfruit Chocolate Gateau is my most favourite cake in the whole world, that I’ve ever tasted. It is a TASTE SENSATION LIKE NO OTHER! It often consumes my mind, my thoug
