This is definitely a SOLID 4.5 but I just couldn't go 5 due to the cold chips and a little bland flavours. Having looked at the menu and see the LARGE portion sizes I was excited to try Monaka for lunch. The Japanese fusion was a fun take on classics and the food was generous and filling. The whole time I did just feel a little "Meh". It was good. just not GREAT. the seaweed chips was an interesting take and I like how it was done, probably not something I would eat all the time but props to the authentic fusion. Japanese fusion style cafe in Mona Vale, one of the Northern Beaches suburb. Their food is beautifully presented and tasty. Service is friendly and welcoming. Love the Japanese style food and yummy desserts! Highly recommended!!!

The place is popular so make sure you get there at the least busy time. Foods selection is good, we order almost everything in the lunch menu, and they turns out great. And the price are so reasonable I would definitely go back and have another go!
