The Brightside Cafe is in a prime position at Mona Vale Beach surf club. I stopped in for an iced matcha, but didn’t have any food. The menu looks good though with decent options. Service was friendly, but I did find the wait for my drink a bit long given how quiet they were.

A cafe with amazing views and ample outdoor seating available. Came here after lunch at The Basin that was located above that restaurant. The coffee + mocha was decent and staff were very friendly. Most of the seats available were outdoor and it was pet friendly as well. Such a treat to see so many dogs enjoying the venue with their owners. As this was on street level and near parking + the beach, it is such an ideal spot to chillax. With plenty of outdoor seating, it was such a luxury enjoying the afternoon at this cafe.

We arrived around 4pm, even though the cafe had already closed at 3pm and they were cleaning up. We politely asked if it was still possible to buy something, as we had our dog with us and nowhere nearby would welcome us. The lady and the man there were incredibly kind and welcoming. They still served us cold drinks and a ham & cheese croissant, and even reheated it properly with so much care. Such genuine kindness and hospitality — it truly meant a lot to us. Thank you so much. We will definitely come back again 🥹🐾💛
