I recently visited Oh Happy Day and had a mixed experience. I opted for the “make your own breakfast” with a few sides and a coffee. With the 15% public holiday surcharge, it came to around $35, which felt pretty steep for what was essentially eggs, bacon, and a very small portion of halloumi. Charging $6 for that amount of halloumi seemed especially excessive. Also, since when is Easter Saturday a public holiday? I absolutely adore this cafe!! Been there a few times now since I moved in the area. I love their variety of foods, lots of gluten free vegan options as well. They also support local artists and have amazing specials on the menu each time, I tried their peanut butter latte and was instantly a fan!!!

Ordered the bag eggs bene w/ bacon (instead of salmon) and the carbonara. And wow! Everything was amazing! Best eggs bene and carbonara I've had in a loooong time. Will definitely come back to try other dishes 😍😍

What a little gem of a place. We ordered an organic açai smoothie, chilli scrambled eggs, granola with labneh, and a beetroot and ginger juice—everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The staff were attentive and welcoming, the venue was very clean, and the service was prompt and efficient. A lovely experience all round—highly recommend.
