Hazel Espresso 🔹 Atmosphere Hazel is a small brunch café located on Southport Street the shop itself is not very noticeable, so it is quite easy to walk past if you are not paying close attention.the space is not very large, but the atmosphere feels warm and cosy. It is the kind of low key café that feels comfortable to sit and relax in 🔷 Food 🔺 Hot Matcha Latte (7)🍵 The matcha flavour is very rich and you can tell the matcha powder they use is good quality The drink also comes with a small cookie 🧸this small detail feels very thoughtful and definitely adds to the overall experience

What a fabulous find! I love brunch but particularly if the food is a little different from the norm. And this place certainly had it. I had the Bo Ne Flaming Beef which was so tasty my mouth still waters when I think about it and the Hanoi egg coffee (sounded weird but tasted great - worth a try). My cuzzy had the honey soy stacker and a Vietnamese coffee which she said was great and our friend had the truffle mushroom hash and matcha coco crush. Both a hit as well. I’m keen to go back as soon as I’m back in the GC. Great service, cool vibe, simple and small and reminded me of Wellington cafe

Such a great cafe. Really appreciated how friendly the staff were, and how accomodating they are of allergies. I ordered the matcha sphere and the mushroom toast. I'm allergic to egg, and really appreciated the option of swapping the scrambled egg to extra hash brown. The avocado was bland and the mushrooms were a little too oily for me, but otherwise it was a great brunch. My friend ordered the seafood pasta and matcha coconut. She loved what she ordered.
