Great ambience and decor. We arrived for an early sitting so the bar area was a bit crowded but we still managed a seat at the bar(Happy hour until 6pm). The service was attentive, personable and informative regarding menu and menu choices. we enjoyed the a la carte menu: the spaghetti prawns was excellent; and both our mains were delicious, particularly my swordfish. Couldn't fault it all.

This was my third visit to Gowings since discovering it about a year ago. Love the ambience and Art Deco setting. 10/10 Food! We had the $75 set menu and it was super worth it, make sure you come in hungry. Other than that, 100/10 service from Nico who made our night extra special. His was very knowledgable with the menu, loved his recommendations, and super friendly! Besides the great food, having someone like Nico serve you really completes the excellent dining experience! Stopped by Gowings for their happy hour deals and it was so worth it! The $2 oysters were fabulous and the caviar was decent and the triple cheeseburger was so juicy and piping hot. Nico was our waiter and despite how busy and crowded the bar was, he made sure everyone was well looked after with a smile. Great food great drinks and great service. Will definitely be spending lots of happy hours here!
