This city is a cut throat world. The coffee can't be ok, it has to be good or better. Here the coffee is very good, and that's no easy feature with me. The congee is terrific. The mushie melt deflates like a tac in a tyre. The shrooms are good quality and well prepared, but so few that they barely rate a mention. The bread too is nothing special, and the whole thing is a zero next to the really wonderful congee, which delights with complexity and depth. I'm asked about our meal. I say what I just reported. No response. Ok, I'll move on!

A HIDDEN GEM FOR TRUE MATCHA LOVERS!! I tried every cafe suggested by google for good matcha in Martin Place and every single one added sugar to their mix. This place not only had the most friendly and genuine service I’ve ever experienced in Sydney CBD, but the matcha was LEGIT! 10 stars. Thank you thank you thank you Hills Bros!
