After a wonderful pool day we had dinner at Francescos.the They offer an open air space for dining although we arrived without a reservations but was offered a large table indoors. It worked out perfectly as we were alone adjacent to a huge open window that gave us a view to the outdoors. It was perfect for our group of 6 including 2 children. It was pizza for all except one spaghetti pesto. The pesto dish was OK, could have used a bit more flavor. The pizzas were good with a definite taste structure. Will definitely become my favourite restaurant in Grinzing! The food is very tasty, and the staff vey nice (I was recommended a delicious wine to go with the pasta dish). Will definitely revisit and can’t wait to try the terrace too as it seemed really nice.

Thats my favorite pizza place actually. Diavola and Cardinale with extra garlic is my personal recommendation. Nice wine as well. Pasta totally recommended. And really nice people are working there. They made rebranding just a few months ago. I can only recommend this place

My favorite restaurant of all time since 10 years ago. I was here as a child and was happy to see it was still there! The place is cozy, nice vibes, very friendly and professional staffs, and the price is very cheap compared to touristy place around the city centre! It might be a bit far to go from 1st district but try having a go and have a nice walk around the place. You won’t regret!
