I became a fan not long after seeing the menu/beer list whereas they had my very favorite Czech beer on tap, Kozel dark. A couple of those with the bangers and mash was perfect on a cold January night. Well, any month of the year that’d work IMO. The Guinness’s pie was well liked in our group too. The atmosphere inside was both pub like in the entrance room then a long hall ;-) of booths and tables in more of a restaurant flare. This was a nice shift in the mix of hitting a bunch of Viennese cafes and Wiener schnitzels … Long Hall was a nice stop in our week.

Great pub in the heart of Vienna. It's a sports bar/Irish pub, plenty of seating inside/outside, including a room with darts and pool. Food is excellent value for money, large portions, tasty albeit limited menu but plenty of choice for most tastes. Drinks are also varied, several local lagers as well as Guinness and Magnets cider, again, reasonable pricing. Service was friendly and relaxed, there was no sports on TV during the visit so cannot comment if service dips during busy times, but the place was full and staff all still seemed happy and helpful. No Fuss, Just Great execution. Visited: June 30 Let’s be honest: genuine Irish pubs abroad are rare. Most are plastic theme parks. The Long Hall in Vienna is a massive exception. First off, the decor is excellent. It’s high-quality, authentic, and avoids all the usual cheap clichés. But the real standout on a warm June evening is the outside area. Beautifully laid out, spacious, and the perfect spot to sit back and watch the city go by. Sometimes when you're traveling you just want the comfort of an Irish bar with pub food, and the Long Hall did not disappoint. They pour a good Guinness (or four) and had tasty pub food. The staff were welcoming and attentive as well. I'd recommend this place!
