If waiting for 40 minutes for a waffle rocks your boat, then this is the place to be. You shall not be disappointed. Oh and getting the bill would be another 10 minutes from getting first attention to repeating 3 times.

Went in for a coffee and snack/lunch and was asked if we'd like some water with our coffee. Said yes Leitungswasser (tap water). They came out with 2 bottles of water, Not what we asked for. It was already opened when it arrived at our table and quickly poured by the waitress into glasses. Felt obliged to drink it as we'd now have to pay for it anyway. The food was not bad. The menu said gratuity not included so before asking for the bill we worked our how much it was going to cost us. The waitress came over and gave me a different price so I queried it. We stopped by a small café next to Thalia yesterday to enjoy a glass of Prosecco. It’s served in mini bottles, which is a nice touch, but the prices were quite steep — €25 for two small bottles. On the positive side, service was quick and the staff were friendly. The location is also very convenient, right on the ground floor of the building that houses the cinema — perfect for meeting friends before a movie. The rare place that does not serve tap water with your coffee, as is customary in Vienna. Waiter from a get go asks if you want still or soda water, which is a clear sign it's paid, if you know it. Also in city center you pay 5 Euros for a proper Latte, not a Cappuccino. It wasn't like that a few years ago. And the coffee was so-so, and also I got no check, which is illegal actually. Disappointing development.
