Arriving at my hotel (Ruby Sofie IG) in 36c heat with a heavy cold and headache I was incredibly reluctant to leave the building again so it was my great fortune that this amazing restaurant was on the lower ground floor. I had the hummus as a starter which was the best I have had in a very long time (and a very generous portion too) and then the lamn kafta maswieh for a main, perfectly tender and spiced and offset with a flavoursome tahini. Really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere (a blend of middle eastern music and dancing with the world cup in the background) and most of all the location
