Travelling alone I was nicely surprised they invited me to eat at the counter instead of waiting for a free table, and as a vegetarian I could choose from half the menu, staff was very nice. Had laibchen vom grill, but with red cabbage since they ran out of celery-garlic sauce, not quite the same, and the salad was sour and craved for a decent sauce. So muh, should've been much better for this price.

It’s more of an experience than a restaurant - once you find it :) I was so pleasantly surprised by the menu, the service and the energy of the place. The menu changes daily and has (many!!) vegan and vegetarian options. The highlight was the service, the owner and the team are really here to make sure you have the best time. Amazing vegan food and service! Visiting from Australia and found this place following Trip Advisor/Google reviews. Being a Saturday night, they were nearly fully booked but seated us at the bar. The staff were absolutely motoring to serve everyone but still found time to generously attend to us and our German language deficiencies (and recommending us some top notch tap beers). They were also kind enough to reseat us at a table when it became free. Loved this hidden gem!! Service was great and food was fantastic! I had the rigatoni for some carb replenishment after walking around such a beautiful city, and I would highly recommend it - and have it again. Good beer too. It’s not the easiest place to find from the main shopping street, through an archway, and you won’t see it until you’ve walked across the large square (to the left), then you need to go down some steps. This is a must visit!!
