After searching for a place where we could eat local viennese cuisin, we stumbled upon this pub/restaurant. It was the best thing that could have happen. The place was cozy and warm, the staff super polite and welcoming and the food was just super. Everything we ate made us giggle in joy, not even kidding. Absolute 5 star material.

Would highly recommend Haas Beisl. It might not look like much from the outside, but it’s a perfect example of never judging a book by its cover. The host was patient, engaging, and more than happy to walk us through the menu and answer all our questions. The food itself was exceptional, and paired with a really good Austrian wine, it made for a perfect meal.

We walked in off the street. We were asked if we had a reservation and replied no. But the host squeezed us it to a table at the end of the bar. Lucky for us he did. The food was superb. We both had the Zwiebelrostbaten. Excellent meal. The atmosphere is so local pub style. Warm and cosy. Highly recommend but pays to reserve a table.
