Pietrain is tucked away in Antwerp’s old meat district, an area that’s buzzing with new energy. The restaurant stays true to its roots, serving steaks in all kinds of tempting variations. My entrecôte was full of flavour, and the croquettes we had to start were simply delicious. Add a good glass of wine, and the evening can’t really go wrong. The service was warm, personal, and professional — a perfect match to the food. Definitely a place worth recommending.

Came here for my birthday after finding this place on Google maps. The location is not close to the city center but it’s well worth the walk/tram if you’re visiting. We ordered the Picanha and it was cooked perfectly. There was so much meat we ended up taking ⅓ of it home! Service from the two gentlemen was great too and they were very busy on their feet all evening making sure customers’ needs were met. I really enjoyed this steak experience! Booking through their website was easy as well. Recommend stopping by if you’re in Antwerp.

Incredible customer service, amazing food and cosy atmosphere. Our waiters were super attentive, we truly felt like they cared about our experience. We had the “Argentijnse zesrib” which was very tender and juicy. The portion of fries is also very generous. We also appreciated that we could order a smaller dessert of just one scoop of ice cream, since we were so full from the main course. 10/10 would recommend!
