This bar/restaurant is the ultimate definition of comfort! And it’s a gem in a neighbourhood where the risk of ending up in tourist traps is high. It’s a truly belgian (Flemish) place with a cozy atmosphere and a combination of food and drinks that can make you forget about the outer world for a while. The venue is divided in two parts - one is the bar with both tables and sits at the counter where you can enjoy a good beer with some typical belgian bites (saucisson, cheese, soup, croques). Hidden gem in the back of the bar, and spaghetti restaurant. Fresh made pasta with excellent sauces. The waitress recommended the mash, and it was creamy and flavorful. The prices are good, a variety of drinks. Make sure to check out the men's restroom where you can see a part of the medieval town wall.

Went here because i like the place. However, there was a group of men on the terrace with a sex doll with a metal slave chain around her neck. When i notified the barman about it, that this is a really creepy, sexist, and right out wrong thing to have on display, he said "they are really nice guys actually, and this is a tradition when somebody gets married". A bachelor party is not an excuse to be sexist and normalise extreme violence against women. This is not okay
