Had a fun evening there. Lovely staff, cheeky and friendly. As non-French-speakers we had lots of fun trying (successfully) to communicate. It's a nice atmosphere in there and the food is simple but tasty, and portions are sizeable. The house wine is rather good, and the choice of beer massive. All in all a nice enjoyable evening out!

Very good food in a nice location on the town square with a bustling atmosphere. Bring your French because English isn't spoken well (I'm not expecting it to be though). What put me off is a problem that plagues much of central and southern Europe when sitting outside: smokers. With a dog, sitting inside is rarely an option, which is a shame I need to get secondhand lung cancer for the privilege. I would love there to be a non-smoking option.

Nice and quiet restaurant in the center of Mons with good service. At first I was hesitant to go in, but then I was glad that I decided to have dinner here. This is an authentic restaurant in a very old building. The wooden floors and staircases only contribute for the great atmosphere inside. There are 6 beers on tap and plenty of bottled ones. The food was excellent, or at least the one I ordered. It's quiet and you can have great time talking with friends or just have dinner alone.
