If I could give this spot 10 stars I would! I would bet this is the best shwarma in Ottawa. It’s certainly the best shwarma I’ve ever had. The classic shwarma had a beautifully crisped bread, delicious flavors inside including garlic pickles and homemade pomegranate sauce. I would fly back to Ottawa just to eat this again. I watched them crisp the wrap on the meat burner and slather the wrap in some juice before giving it a final fry on the hot top. I also tried the kibbeh (very good, a little greasy) and the yogurt drink which was a delicious addition before, during and after. Give this spot

I tried the new crispy hot Cheeto shawarma. Personally I was a big fan. The level of spice, the crunch, the cheese all mixed with the delicious chicken and pickles on the inside were an absolute hit for me. My partner seemed not to agree as he thought it was too spicy(seems like a skill issue) and too greasy. I was looking for a plave to eat in downtown and found Mr. Fez. Reviews were great so I came to check it myself. REVEWS WERE RIGHT! The food is delicious. I come to Ottawa once in a while for work and Mr. Fez just gained a loyal customer. Food is so good that I had to come back the following day. Don’t waste time looking around. It’s my first time here. I ordered the Arabic platter and originally planned to take it out, but I’m so glad I decided to eat in, the wrap was kind of crispy, toasted, which made a huge difference. I Everything was really flavorful, and I especially loved the coleslaw; it balanced the dish so well. The sriracha they use is also a standout—so good. I like the flavor of the fries from the Arabic platter. The only small downside for me was the pickled cucumber, which I found a bit too salty, but it didn’t take away much from the overall experience. Still a great meal, and I’d definitely come b
