Had dinner for two this evening which had chicken chow mien, beef chop suey, sweet and sour pork and egg rolls, the food was good and the service was excellent, looked to me this restaurant was a popular one with the locals, located a block away from district 1881, the atmosphere was clean and pleasant.

When I visit my Mom in Chilliwack, we always either dine in or take out at The Capital. All of her friends as well as my Sister love the food. Upon arriving to take out, the restaurant was empty as it was quite early for dinner. By the time I left it was pretty full of what appeared to be regulars as everyone seemed to know what they wanted upon entering. The lady at the front is not the most friendly, asking me to wait in the lobby area by the front door (where there was a tent with two people doing drugs right there), rather than inviting me to sit and wait in the empty restaurant area

I had ordered food here in the last hour today. When I got there I mentioned right away I had questions because I had a nut allergies and could not have any nuts and the dish description is not available in the menu. I first spoke with a young lady that did not know the answers. She asked another lady with what I thought had more experience. They said No they did not use nuts or nut oils in the dishes i was ordering. When I ordered the duck showing on the menu they no longer carried that dish. I asked if they had any other recommendation and she said a shrimp dish and I said ok to order it. By
