Just moved to the city and wanted to try out the local cafe, and I’m so glad I did. They were crazy busy and all the food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing! The staff were very friendly and polite. They did run out of an ingredient, but they more than made up for it and my burrito was still hearty and delicious—even Magpie approved. I will def be going back, especially for their gorgeous soft pretzels!

Reposting my review as my previous one seems to have been removed. Take-out order on April 4 (Order #720336763). I ordered eggs on an English muffin for breakfast. The eggs were extremely runny. This was the only food I had before symptoms started. A few hours later I developed significant nausea and stomach pain and felt very unwell, with symptoms consistent with food poisoning. I cannot confirm the exact cause, but the timing and the condition of the food were very concerning. I hope the kitchen reviews its food safety practices so other customers don’t have a similar experience.

Sparrow Coffee has become our new Sunday morning ritual after a friend convinced our group to skip our usual spot and give it a try. The cortado I ordered was genuinely one of the best I've had in the city, balanced and smooth without being bitter. Our server was warm and unhurried, which made the whole visit feel relaxed even though the place was buzzing with the weekend crowd. We ended up staying way longer than planned, just talking over our drinks in that cozy front window seat watching people walk by on the street.
