Great casual downtown pub with a great drinks selection and plenty of warm hearty British pub fare. Personal favorites include the Bangers and Mash, Pretzel Guiness Cheese pan, Gochujang Chicken Bites and Fish n Chips (the tartar sauce is divine!) Food was decent. Their Shepherds Pie was made with ground beef which was a little misleading, should be named Cottage Pie. I mean a food establishment must know these things. Fish and Chips was good and was good to find London’s Pride beer in Edmonton. Well service is mediocre. You just dont feel the warmth or may be it was just my server. The Sherlock Holmes Pub Downtown is a great location to enjoy some drinks and food on the patio in the summer time. There isn't too much traffic along the side street, and they have plenty of umbrellas for shade. Inside the pub is the classic Old English style decor that Sherlock's has become known for. It is a smaller venue inside and when it is at capacity it can be difficult to walk around chairs/tables to get to the bathroom or entrance/exit - which can make some larger sized individuals feel uncomfortable.
