La cage has been around for years, the food got better with time especially with their last turn around. I recommend the tartars. Their beer selection has gotten better over the years also. It's not my first go to if I want to have a nice relaxed evening, it is a sports bar after all.

Hi all Decided to go at " La Cage " last minute , to watch NHL first round Draft . Excellent ambiance. Service was good Food excellent I took half pork rib with Caesar salad & sweet potato fries . The missing star sadly, the server made me wait 20 - 25 minutes for my soft drink . He apologized , gave him a good tip , however as for the 5 star service not this time ! Hopefully next time Second visit at " La Cage " Excellent all the way . Took 8 wings 😋 4 🧂 salty & pepper and 4 Buffalo 🐃 with blue cheese 🧀 dipping ,great taste . Main course a "filet mignon " 8 on With sides of mash

Overall a great place for watching games with friends, but the food could be better prepared. The fried chicken sandwich/burger was overcooked . The crust was tasting burnt on chicken. And the soggy fries with fish and chips did not help. I think they need to improve on that. Also needs a wider selection of beers , perhaps craft beers .
