The Afternoon Tea was amazing and such a great experience. Katie was our server and she was great! She was so helpful with making our tea selections and gave us great suggestions. The food was delicious fresh. The sandwiches were tasty and the flavours were so balanced. The dessert tray was beautiful and had warm, fresh scones. The tea room is decorated with fun teapots and nostalgic tea related items. I highly recommend visiting and trying the Afternoon Tea! I will be going back to try the hot meals next time!

Visited The Old Curiosity Tea Shop on Markham's Main Street today for high tea for two, and it was an absolute delight—like stepping into a vintage English drawing room.Surrounded by fascinating curios and aged wood paneling that lent such authentic charm, we settled into our table as delicate china arrived bearing tiered stands of finger sandwiches, fresh scones with clotted cream and jam, and petite pastries.The numerous tea selections truly blew my mind—over 200 loose-leaf options, from vanilla chai to delicate Kyoto cherry rose; we savored a pot each in this very English high tea setting.

Fantastic scones! It was a wonderful experience with a very knowledgeable host/server (the term might be tea master). I had a black tea with hints of blackberry, and it was delicious. They accommodated our big group and we had a great time. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
