First time trying a beef patty so nothing to compare it to but tasted fine I guess, a little dry and limited on filling like other reviews said. But overall was still fresh and warm. The service was nice and lots of places to sit and eat.

This is my first time having a Jamaican patty, so I don’t have any reference 😅 ordering was super quick, it’s a grab and go with no seating at patties express itself, but open seating at the food court. I got the spicy beef, and it’s a good price. The cashier told me each patty ~300 cal. They were fresh hot out of the oven, so tbat was good. Didn’t taste spicy. At first I couldn’t taste much filling, but that’s cause it sank towards the bottom. It’s quite a fluid filling, I think it could use some more.

First time here. Don't think I would come back. I have had plenty good patties in my life and this is not even close to them. Shout out to Randy's that used to be in little Jamaica (so good!, sad the owners retired and didn't sell it) and shout out to Tinnels in Brampton. This place like another review says doesn't have a lot of filling and not really any meat, just sauce of some sort. The crust is nice. So long story short I ended up stopping at two places selling patties, first some Jerk place by one of the entrances/exit and patties express in the District area of the mall I wanted to compare the two. Unfortunately for the underdog patties express offered an overall better tasting beef patties. I'd rate it a 4.5/5 the only place of improvement would be to make the patties skin more flakey. I'm not sure why the reviews have this place below 4 stars I got excellent service and plan to return in the future
