Lana★★★★★It’s worth the hype and the wait, the food is really thoughtful and well balanced. I had the mushroom burrata toast (10/10). It was a little on the salty side, but the burrata balances it out perfectly. I also had the tomato soup with the grilled cheese, which was really good. The soup is rich and full of flavor, and the grilled cheese is made with a spicy cheese, a nice twist. I personally prefer milder options, but it was still a hit. The pancakes were very tasty, fluffy, buttery goodness with flaky sea salt on top. A bit heavy to eat on their own; I feel like a side of berries and whipped
Shahrzad★★★★If you want to beat the crowd at September Café, show up before 10 a.m. — otherwise, expect a long line. That seems to be the price of popularity for this sunny little spot on Notre-Dame West. We visited on a weekend morning and ordered the tomato soup, crepes, avocado toast, a matcha drink, and an americano. Everything was clean, fresh, and well-prepared. The quality is clearly there — ingredients taste good and the flavors are solid. The vibe is nice and casual: small space, friendly (sympa) staff, and a communal/social table setup that makes it easy to chat with others if you’re in the mood
Ashley Wang★★★★★Came here with a friend and wanted to try their signature pancakes! They were pretty decent but a bit dry and bland. I wish they came with some fruits or other add ons as it only came with a bit of butter and syrup. There was a pretty long line (I waited 15 min) and the line never ends. Once I got into the cafe there was another line to order food. There was a lot of seating but it was extremely hard to find a seat. The outside seating areas are super nice though. I also got an iced Chai latte which was one of the best I've had. I wanted to try their orange juice but it was really expensive. T
Krystel El Koussa★★★★★We are regulars at September’s Café. We have tried several items on their menu and several drinks. The service is excellent. The waiters are always smiling and inviting, the coffee barista as well. The place is always super packed but if you get a chance to try it, don’t hesitate. They’re pretty well known for their incredible pancakes.
