We come here every year when we visit Alexandria. It is the best pizza in the city in our opinion. We love eating outside on the sidewalk to enjoy the beauty of the city. The food is fabulous and the service is always outstanding. We ordered the Margherita pizza, seafood pizza, and pepperoni pizza. There was nothing left on our plates when we left!

Old style restaurant, with a very friendly budgetz I have tried everything in here: negresco pasta, shrimp pasta and I believe it’s the best you can have at this price point. I also tried margarita pizza, pepperoni pizza, parm pizza and basil pizza. Everything was perfect, Mahmoud the waiter there is very friendly. Highly recommended.

However, the atmosphere at Focacciara is a bit of a mixed bag. The restaurant has a vintage look, which is cool and nostalgic, especially with the old rock music playing in the background. But honestly, the interior could use some love. The decor is a bit dated, and a renovation would really help the place shine. Despite the killer food and friendly service, the current vibe might put some people off. I have seen the previous comments about the quality of the place, that it was better and now is degrading. I wanted to try it anyways. Tbh i set my expectations really low because of the past comments. I spoke with the waiter and she told me the restaurant was taken for a couple of months and now its back to the Egyptian-Italian owner (from around approximately 20 days). I was impressed with the quality apart from the place wasn't the best. But I guarantee the quality also the ingredients were fresh ❤️ 5 stars well deserved

Focacciaria is a modest restaurant in Raml Station just behind Said Darwish Theater. Not the best choice if you prefer fancy places. People there are nice and friendly. They have few tables outside and another conditioned hall. Prices are good $. They’re most famous for their pizza but they have pasta and other options. Pizzas aren’t that big. One pizza will be just enough if you are hungry. I didn’t try much, only grilled vegetables pizza. Regular pizza with Salsa, mozzarella cheese, grilled zucchini, carrots and eggplants. It was quite hard but still tasty. I will definitely try more stuff next time.
