I dined at Jade Restaurant in Addis Ababa last night and had a mixed experience. Making a reservation and getting a table was easy and efficient. However, our waiter was not very helpful or attentive. We ended up ordering more food than we needed because he failed to inform us that the large platter we ordered was sufficient for 2 people, especially after starters. Additionally, he didn't clarify that some of the extra dishes we ordered were already included in the platter, despite my attempts to ask. What was even more disappointing was that our waiter seemed to disappear after taking our order and serving us drinks. We were then served by two or three different waiters, which made us feel like our table was not a priority. Throughout the meal, no one checked in to see if we wanted refills on our drinks despite the fact that when we made our order I requested for wine menu but it never came. It was a great experience dining at Jade Restaurant located inside the Sheraton Hotel. The ambiance was nice with outdoor seatings. The service from the staff was outstanding with several team members checking in on our dining experience and needs. We loved all the dishes we ordered, but the Gang Ped Goong, Scallop Gyoza and Pad Thai noodles were super delicious. Highly recommend this place for a great dining experience.

This is a high-end Asian fusion restaurant inside the Sheraton Luxury Hotel. We only tried the sushi, and it was great. Of course, it may not be as fresh as it should be, but it is still delicious and well prepared. It's beautifully decorated, classy, and elegant. The staff are very attentive and well trained. They also have private rooms for live cooking and a cosy bar and an aquarium. The live cooking also includes a Japanese tea ceremony. It's just an amazing place. ❤️❤️

They tried… but did not meet the threshold to be mediocre. Sushi platter looked okay but the rice was overcooked like a rice cake and sushi rolls had no flavors. Basically, this place should never serve any raw fish related dish. Sashimi was an insult.. Pad Thai was not bad but needed more flavor..Oil they use here to cook must be really old as anything that was fried smelled like a bad oil…. Nice decor but should have focused on the quality of food…

Highly disappointed with management. Been there a few times before & have been ordering the Jade royal sushi platter every time. But today we went again & to our surprise they have significantly reduced the amount of pieces they put in the platter & the price of the platter have significantly increased which does not make any sense at all. Clear daylight robbery by the management taking us all for fools. Before there were a total of 31 pieces in the platter & now only 23 as you can see in the two photos below but still they have increased the price. Not looking forward to going back there again as they are clearly taking advantage of their customers and ripping us off.
