Messanta is a coffee house worth visiting. I go there now and then. They have a good quality and variety of drinks. My favourites are their Matcha drink, americano, strawberry shake I guess with whipped cream on top, and sprite lemonade they are top notch. Also they have sweet cakes and cookies for an option. It's a calm vibe place which is self service but with great staff.

Nice coffee shop! Opened recently and have a variety coffee drinks. Limited amount of cakes, not sure if that’s bc of the day I went.. i would give this place 3.5 stars. They use the Cimbali espresso machine so their coffees are amazing! definitely worth a try. Parking is a little bit of a hassle, so be cognizant of that.

Today, we enjoyed possibly the best coffee and cake experience of our lives. Ever. And we've seen a lot of the world. We’ve been to (arguably) the oldest coffee shop in the world, in Venice, and to the oldest coffee shops in Vienna and Paris. We’ll remember them, but age, fame, infamy, history even, can never match the satisfaction of having “real” people integrated into the experience and the story. We arrived at 9:00am on a Thursday and ordered a double espresso each and two very delicious looking cakes to share – a caramel cream layered cake, and a chocolate version of something similar. We paid our bill of 345Br (about $10.50AUD) and then selected a nice table in a bright area of the impeccably clean store. Soft, western music was playing in the background and we could easily have been in any café in a modern European city. Except for the price, which by Ethiopian standards was high, but was still probably less than half what we’d have paid in Melbourne, Paris, London or Ne
