La Bouchée offers seating just inside the entrance as well as in a cellar dining room. We were seated upstairs; although the space is relatively small and filled up quickly, it never felt crowded. As a starter, the Oeuf Bio cuit vapeur à 64° was perfectly cooked, with the ham and artichoke complementing the egg very well. For the main course, I choose the pigeon (confit leg and breast). I went to La Bouchée twice during my stay in Aix-en-Provence and it was easily the best restaurant I went to on my holiday. The food was outstanding every time everything was delicious, with no weak dishes at all. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel even more special. Honestly, everything was perfect from start to finish.

Came here after arriving from the airport and needed somewhere for a comforting meal. La Bouchée satisfied that need and more! We booked in advance just in case which was easy with the online booking system in place and arrived at our scheduled seating time of 7pm. No issues. We were warmly greeted by the staff and impressed by the clean and homely interior. Upon getting seated we were provided with the menu and shortly after ordered drinks.
