I had an extraordinary culinary experience at this restaurant in Amiens yesterday, and I wanted to share it with you. Our waiter was simply wonderful! He patiently explained each dish, taking into account that we're not from France and aren't familiar with the local cuisine. My husband and I were hoping for a leisurely meal before our return home. I will start with the positives. The food was extremely tasty and the set menu and the wine were both fairly priced. Unfortunately, service was extremely slow - we didn’t get a drink for an hour after we’d arrived. I had to give our food order 3 times to 3 different people. Amazing experience. We were there with two small kids (3 and 4 years old) and they had tasty french fries for them. Our menu was really good and we would definetly come back if we'll be visiting the city again. The people in the restaurant seems to be 90% locals which is always a good sign.

Delicious food, amazing atmosphere, and a wonderfully helpful waitress made our evening unforgettable. The dishes were full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with love. As for the Irish coffee—let’s just say it lived up to its name a little too well. I ordered a coffee with a splash of whiskey, but what I got was a generous pour of whiskey gently whispering “coffee” from afar. Absolutely loved it!
