The waiter took ages to come and take my order. I knew what I wanted, salade Landaise. All I really saw was foie gras on toast on the menu description. I wasn’t very hungry so decided even that alone would be fine. It arrived with lots of meat which I thought was duck, and ate a piece, as I noticed the pieces were strange shapes. Gésiers, they were gizzards, not a favourite of mine 😂. The toast was very briefly shown the grill, but still it was lovely. Just the job. Pizza is good, other food is ok, but the service is very bad. You feel like the servers are scolding you / condescending. They removed all the other plates while 1 person was still eating. Didn’t even ask if we wanted dessert or coffee. Kept walking around an empty table with 5 people waiting. I don’t recommend.

Usually, the service here is very poor because they don't have enough staff, and I end up moving on to the restaurant next door in order to eat or have a simple coffee. However, on Saturday, the 28th of June, I could see that it was fully staffed, so I decided to eat here. The service was excellent; quick, efficient, and friendly. I had an excellent pizza accompanied by an ice-cold beer. I would now eat here again based on this experience. Hence, the 5 stars.
