I remembered my visit here in 2025 and wanted to leave a review! (Sorry for the delay 😅) The first night we visited Colmar, we went out looking for a place to eat, drink, and chat. The service here was great (really nice people), the atmosphere was fantastic and we thought it was funny that they were playing Latin music, since we’re Latin Americans ourselves haha.

It's a trap!!! Tourist trap. Seems like a local place but it's not. Food is overrated and completely overpriced. The fish (Merlu) was dry and smelling like sea (we complained within the supervisor and she said that we must had complained when we ate the first fork of it). ???? Les escargots are very very small. Tiny!!! Wine is overpriced. Go somewhere else. Service is horrible by the way.

This is a wonderful restaurant to have local specialties. If you like typical Alsatian cuisine (i.e., you don't scare away from pork intestines and boudin noirs) this place is a must try. The food comes presented in cute little Staub La Cocotte pots and pans. These are great to keep the food nice and warm. The pork intestine stew is highly recommended. The various terrines, steaks, and boudin noir (blood sausage) are all excellent. Service is friendly. The place is cosy and relaxed. For us, it has become a regular stop in Colmar.
