Excellent foods and drink. I was satisfied by the lamb shank, poached egg w red wine sauce and the drink Kir here. The red wine sauce with rich fragrance of wine, it's sourness perfect balanced with the onion, mushrooms' sweetness, such a classic savory starter. It was my first time to try the Kir, a traditional drink in Dijon. The taste of the mixture if whit wine and blackcurrant liqueur with a tiny hit after taste gives an perfect appetizing effect. One of the kindest French people in France. Dijon shows how sweet and kind French people can be in a slower paced down not overrun by rude tourists. It was a sunday and they were busy! Expect extremely slow service, even other French customers were getting impatient. However, the staff are very kind and lovely for being extremely busy on a Sunday lunch rush. They also continued to speak to me in French to allow me to practice my terrible French and spoke to my husband in English. Everything was good even though we read some negative comments but we decided to give it a try. Despite being full on a weekday we managed to get a table. We started with some appetizers and ended with some kain courses. If you are adventurous then here has something to offer to you from a modern French cuisine perspective. Some dishes were delicious but after we found what was inside it we may not have ordered it so we were lucky we only read the dish names but not the ingredients! Staffs are very helpful even though English is not their main language but they tried their best to advise us. O
