The staff of aux Waterzooi does the extra effort if needed. Personal touch and genuine interest. Only need better bike parking facilities and fix the check in machine.

The hotel has a convenient self service kiosk. The rooms are clean, tidy, and elegant. A restaurant is directly below the hotel for dinner and breakfast. We felt the breakfast was slightly overpriced and got ours somewhere in town. But we did enjoy a good (very reasonably priced) seafood dinner here. There was some noise at night, which is to be expected in at a location like this. Unfortunately, the night club went on deep into the night.

Great location with plenty of street parking nearby. Room suited our needs for one night - clean and comfortable. We didn’t bother with breakfast as it was far too expensive for what you get - we walked just about 10 minutes and found a lovely place for just €9 that served eggs, coffee and fresh juice!! My only other complaint is that I got about 20 emails about my booking (booked via booking.com) ahead of and after my stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. Firstly, the room was dirty and poorly maintained, which made the stay uncomfortable from the start. Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff, nothing was done to rectify the situation. Access to the hotel was also a significant issue. It is evident that no thought was given to disabled access, making it extremely difficult for anyone with mobility issues to navigate the premises.
