We don’t speak French, but despite that, we were given a very warm welcome. Our waiter was excellent. We were surprised to find that the menu was written on a large board, but everything was explained to us clearly. The food was delicious (we especially loved the sea bream), and while waiting for it, you can pass the time by solving the puzzles printed on the placemat at the table.

As an American visiting La Havre for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by how good our meal was. The waiters were very friendly and dealt with my lack of French. They definitely hustled. My only wish was that they started serving lunch earlier, but that's an American expectation, not a French one. My husband got the mussels and shrimp appetizer. I got the beersteak, shrimp cocktail and cheesecake. I think our meal was under $50 for the both of us. Excellent food and atmosphere. If we ever come back we will come back and eat.

The food is always yummy. The owners /staff are super friendly. Good atmosphere and reasonably priced. The only negative would be for me the Tiramisu... not quite the recipe (usually made with alcohol and mascarpone cheese), this one was made with wipped cream and I could not taste either the coffee nor the alcohol. However, i could not mark them down for it as the meal overall was so good (had steak which was cooked to perfection) and they are super nice. They just have their own twist on the Tiramisu. Everything was well presented and the place was clean.

Awesome little bar. Found their draft (tap) beers at 5 euros from 5:30-7:30. So glad I found this place.
