Had a wonderful experience and one of my best meals in Nice. Its a family owned restaurant but is professionally run. The husband and son do speak English and very kind and know how to help you decide on your meal without being pushy. The cocktails are lush without the alcohol being aggressive, the prawns are wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the coconut tart is heavenly. The fried green bananas and little chips that taste like Cheetos are the unsung heros of the meal. They should be added to the starters. Why did I come here already full? 😭 I’m honestly so sad that I could only try one main dish and one side. This place deserves a proper, empty-stomach visit! Chef Brenda is a true professional in Mauritian cuisine, every dish was full of flavor, yet beautifully balanced. Vishnu and Melvin were also incredibly kind and warm, which made the whole experience even more special. Had dinner, dessert and some cocktails. The seafood was amazing, the spiciness was ok for us and we had extra spices to put on if we wanted to. The owner is amazing, taking their time to ask you if food is ok, to explain if something is not clear from the menu or to tell a short joke / story. Really nice atmosphere in this family restaurant, we’ll definitely come back!
