If zero stars were an option, I would give them without hesitation. The food was poor overall. The service, was completely horrible, service of the waitress was awful- she stated that she is not the chef and therefore does not know what is in the dishes. I thought it’s essential for a server to understand the menu and accurately communicate what is being served. She can ask if she wasn’t sure instead of being argumentative, dismissive, and unwilling to take responsibility. She created a situation that made patrons felt unsafe. Very nice Japanese restaurant with reasonable prices (especially taking into account the situation in the very city centre of Strasbourg close to the Homme du Fer).
