Been here with mother twice, and a regular place to order food when working at office. As an Indian, I can vouch for their food taste and quality. It is the best among Indian restaurants in Aachen. Will be continuing to visit the restaurant in future as well. My personal favourite is rajma rice with mango lassi.

I was greeted by a seemingly very nice man from the restaurant upon entering. The restaurant’s interior is nothing short of lovely. Ordered a mango lassi and a butter chicken and the mango lassi was superb. If my food is heavy on carbohydrates (I’m a diabetic), it usually doesn’t get finished if my husband isn’t there to help me out, but since it’s ramadan, I figured I would be able to take it home for suhoor anyway. When the butter chicken came, the curry tasted excellent but the chicken was far too overcooked. Too bad. But what was more disappointing, was the portion size: it was about 1/3

Celebrated our daughter’s 1st birthday at Royal India. Staff were very friendly and supportive. Loved the aloo gobhi and kadhai paneer, butter chicken was just okay. Great spot for family celebrations.

we ordered for take away from their website requesting naan instead of rice as there was an option for it. Surprisingly we were served with rice. Complete Ignorance!
