A place of nostalgia in which the locals have never been dismissed. I know the Cafe for many years. Airy and spacious tall ceiling integrate with the dark wooden wall finishing creating a coziness atmosphere. Certainly it’s old-fashion but always trendy foods prepared for guests. Came here for breakfast. The place was completely packed so of course service was quite slow but understandable. Got a table quickly without reservation which was great. Ordered the Romeo and Juliette with 2 additional orange juices = €30.50. The scrambled eggs were good. However I found the plating underwhelming and not exactly how described in menu. Barely any Salmon, the fruits didn't exactly seem fresh and mostly consistent of apples. Maybe just got a bad day...but definitely won't do breakfast here again. We unfortunately did not have a good experience, though my friend comes here often and never had a negative experience before. We called to inform that we would be late, once we were sat we waited about 10 minutes before anyone came to our table. We promptly got a bread basket and about 20 minutes later, 2 of the 3 food dishes arrived. Meanwhile we had not gotten our drinks yet. About 10 minutes later my dish finally arrived. Lovely cocktails! This is my go to for a good after work cocktail vibe. They take a longish time to prepare but the wait is worth it. Food didn't blow my mind but quite good. Clientele is generally "adult" with the odd fancy-cocktail loving younger person thrown in. Great place to bring a book if you're on your own. Pictured are a Gin Martini and The Hemingway
