I arrived when they opened and all tables were available. Unlike in the US, the best tables were reserved and walk-ins get the so-so, away from river-view ones. I was only for about an hour, the nice tables were slowly getting filled with reservations but staff don't work well with walk-in turnover. A bit away from the center, still a nice walk and a different Bamberg view.
