The welcome at 8 a.m. was a bit brisk in a northern-German kind of way, but still polite. The café is very clean, both in the seating area and the restrooms. The bakery offers a good selection of bread, pastries, and cakes – all nicely presented. A big plus: there are free parking spots available just to the left of the building. A pleasant place for breakfast or a quick coffee break – I’d be happy to come back!

I called the backery and asked if anyone speaks English and the lady was really rude and said no and immediately hung up the conversation while i was speaking. Really rude. I was there Monday and there was a friendly lady that was kind and spoke English with me. I bought a cake from them 2 years ago and was really tasty but now i can not order again because they don’t want to speak with me. I find it really bad service when the lady that i spoke on the phone was really rude.

Today, April 20, 2026, around noon, I visited the Ullrich confectionery/bakery to inquire about ordering a cake for a large celebration. Unfortunately, the staff treated me with extreme rudeness, condescension, and disrespect. They didn't even take the time to listen to my request; instead, my first inquiry was immediately dismissed with the statement that they didn't have time. The tone throughout was consistently unfriendly and disrespectful. I felt like I was doing something wrong the entire time, even though I simply wanted to know the terms and conditions and whether my request was even
