We decided to go here as I was desperate for a Guinness. There was a friendly welcome and we found a table straight away. Drinks were good and came quickly. We were eating a bit earlier than usual but the friendly employee took our food order 10 mins before the kitchen opened and we were served really quickly. There's a selection of different meals, and drinks, whiskey selection looked good too. Good atmosphere and a good evening meal.

Hegarty’s is easily my favourite pub in town. From Guinness and Strongbow to a great selection of other drinks on tap, it has everything you want from a proper Irish pub. The food is lovely, the service is always welcoming and attentive, and the whole place has a warm, lively atmosphere that genuinely feels Irish. The Monday pub quizzes have become a real highlight of my week. I’ve been going almost every week for nearly a year now, and it has become one of those places I always look forward to returning to. Great drinks, great food, great people, and a brilliant vibe every time.
