We wanted to try Breuers Häuschen today. We were greeted with the message that it was full and the food would take half an hour. Okay, we said, and in the end, we waited an hour for our food. Then it was served: a rump steak for over €30 with fried potatoes and mushrooms. The mushrooms were black as coal and were replaced, but how! We sat for ages with empty glasses, and I had Wiener Schnitzel with mashed potatoes. Well, you'd think you couldn't go wrong with that, but the mashed potatoes were dry and cold. On a cold winter night, we "accidentally" stumbled upon a small but beautiful fairytale house along the way, all lit up and decorated for the upcoming holidays. Upon entering, we were greeted by a pleasant, warm atmosphere, with lots of wooden details, leaded windows, and a rustic, typically Northern style that immediately made us feel welcome.
