Went there for some drinks and cake. We ordered the cheesecake—not the best I’ve had, but decent. Drinks were good, though nothing exceptional. The view, however, is absolutely stunning—worth visiting for that alone. The service was excellent: super friendly and attentive.

I've been there a couple of evenings to enjoy the view and the cocktails, and I wasn't disappointed. The place can be crowded and the prices are premium for Freiburg, but I enjoyed both evenings I spent there. The service was welcoming and fast enough considering how busy the rooftop was. I think it's a perfect place to take a girl on a date! Unfortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to try the restaurant, maybe next time. I still totally recommend the rooftop bar!

We went here twice during our stay in Freiburg and it never disappointed. The schwarzwald ragu was exceptional, as well as the apple crumble cake. Definitely try the Spatburgunder, Germany's answer to pinot noir. And big shout out to Kevin-he knows how to serve a great glass of cognac!
