Die Insel offers a charming outdoor setting — perfect for a relaxing lunch surrounded by greenery. The pasta with mushrooms in cream sauce was delicious and full of flavor, and the Paulaner beer was a refreshing match. However, the service was a bit mediocre — not unfriendly, but slow and somewhat inattentive. Still, the peaceful atmosphere and quality of the food made the visit worthwhile.

Visiting Hamlin for first time. This is a good local spot. I enjoyed the walk on the bridge to get to the location and the sound of the water fall while dinning. Walking distance from hotels. Good service, food and beer.

I was served a “passionfruit” lemonade and it was not good at all and I let the staff know and ordered a coke instead. They charged me for the lemonade in the end and said they couldn’t accommodate everyone’s taste and said it was a nice gesture to not charge me for the coke (I work in the service industry as well and it seems normal to me to not charge the guest for something they recalled). Food was alright but nothing special, the location is nice but a bit loud.

The service is poor and the waiters seem to be making you a favour. The meal is the worst i have ever taken: cold, low quality in the meat and with some “hair” in some dishes. Definetely i do not recommend it at all. Coffee is fine.
