A place I didn't know existed, but I'm glad I discovered it now. It's a very stylish, atmospheric venue with friendly staff and an impressive selection of food. They offer burgers, salads, pizzas, schnitzels, and a great variety of desserts and drinks. The menu is beautifully styled to look like a newspaper, although it can be a bit awkward to use. We had lunch here with a large group, and everyone ordered different items, but in the end, everyone was satisfied. I doubt now that I'll eat anywhere else in Heidelberg besides this place.

A great place to have a breakfast! We visited Cafe Extrablatt twice during 4 day stay in Heidelberg and both times we had a great breakfast. The interior looked great - I liked the wooden furniture and small details like the paintings behind the bar. The breakfast buffet costs 11.95€ on week days and 14.95€ on weekend. There is a wide choice of bread, cheese (vegetarian options available) and cold cuts (vegetarian option available).
