This was our second year in a row that we went there for goose. The breast was rather dry, even tough in places. The side dishes, however, were as delicious as ever. We probably just had bad luck with the meat. We were also a bit unlucky with dessert; the chocolate cake was overcooked and not chocolatey at all, which is quite different from what we've had before. We visited this somewhat unassuming restaurant with three people on Boxing Day 2025. The welcome was very friendly, as was the presentation of the food and drink menus. The small specials menu offered sufficient variety. The food was served in generous portions and hot. All three dishes were also attractively presented. The service was consistently friendly and efficient. The farewell was also friendly. Parking is readily available in the parking lot opposite the "green house." All in all, a worthwhile visit.

I ate at the Grünes Haus / Haus Michels and, to be honest, left with mixed feelings. The food is really good – there's little to criticize in terms of taste. That's precisely why the poor service is so disappointing. The older waiter, in particular, stood out with his rather unfriendly and at times condescending manner. You feel more like you're bothering someone than a welcome guest. The staff at the bar also seemed annoyed and unmotivated. Friendliness doesn't seem to be a priority here.
